China’s Structure

China is a culture based on the consistency of the social and individual efforts and the capacity of accepting trade-offs to achieve the goals of the country.

The Chinese model has to be understood in itself without comparing it with other countries. It has multiple economic models working simultaneously. It is neither a communist nor a capitalist model. It uses multiple unique solutions which imply permanent trade-offs between the different models to achieve its growth.

The Communist Party can be considered as homologous to the ancient nobility in Europe but representing the interests of China as a country and the needs of its population.

Entering the Communist Party needs to be earned because within the party there has to be an ideological consistency to allow a democratic behavior. The Communist Party is the “Establishment” of China.

Confucius’ Concept

Confucianism is a functional philosophy for a culture that needs to grow in a context of an extremely large country with a large population. Order is necessary to sustain consistency.

Minorities in China have to behave within the limits of the explicit and implicit Chinese model. Censorship and self-censorship are a need to avoid that the culture loses its consistency. But although censorship becomes necessary in this context, it is also the implicit weakness of the Chinese archetype.

Cultures evolve based on their implicit weaknesses. Therefore, a generational change can be expected in this field depending on the new trade-offs the culture will make.

A Shielded Culture

China has been, is and will be a shielded archetype, protecting its culture and beliefs in order to ensure its consistency and allowing making the necessary trade-offs to grow.

This shield was represented by the Chinese Wall in the past, and now it is represented by the multiple regulations that establish the framework of the country.

Maximal Strategy

The maximal strategy of China is driven by the working capacity of the culture and the catalyst for the minimum strategy is their cultural shield that ensures the consistency of its actions. The cultural shield works as a protection from foreign influence and internal distortions.

Minimum Strategy

The minimum strategy is driven by the individual working capacity of its population. The entropy inhibitor, to ensure the achievement of growth, is the ideological shield that ensures the focus of the efforts on the objectives that are being achieved.

The personal capacity of making trade-offs is installed in the population and makes individuals extremely focused achievers.

To apprehend the Chinese archetype it is necessary to understand Doers, avoiding ideological, religious or social comparisons. China was, is and will be unique. China doesn’t base its expansion on exporting culture, but on exporting products.

Based on the research on the Archetype of the USA, its purpose is growth and its active function is given by the propensity to dare while achieving its “dream” within a credibility context.

The Maximal strategy implies that the culture is driven by daring actions to achieve its cultural “dream” within an institutionalized context.

The catalyst of the evolution of the American archetype is its institutionalization that accelerates its evolution. Institutionalization is materialized in the democratic rules of the society.

The icon of the cultural dream is the American Flag. Daring implies doing in terms of concrete operational actions to achieve growth and surpass the well-being achieved by the preceding generations.

The social pressure towards growth within a context of being a leading culture in the world generates uncertainty in the coming generations that fosters the need for addictions to avoid the responsibility to produce growth.

The minimum strategy of the archetype fosters thinking, driven by the personal objectives and within the limits of the personal credibility. That is why the USA archetype includes a multi-minority approach.

This minimum strategy provides the necessary context to develop hard technologies that sustain the economic activities of the maximal strategy.

Personal credibility is the entropy inhibitor of the American archetype. As wealth sustains the perception of security, personal credibility requires having solved the necessary financial situation that makes an individual credible.

Daring, dreaming, credibility and thinking integrated to achieve growth require a strong ethical environment that needs to be sustained by the judiciary system. Lying is unacceptable because it destroys the credibility and transparency of the archetype.

Understanding and respecting the archetype of the USA will be extremely useful to develop global and local businesses.

Cultures that have a strong drive towards growth cannot accept the defeat of their leaders. The elite of the culture needs to represent the values of the archetype.

The purpose of the maximal strategy of the Japanese culture is the expansion of the community based on the members’ pride for their work and sustained by their collective intelligence as a community or group.

Collective intelligence is in Japan the catalyst of their growth. Therefore there is a need for  integrating the values of the community in order to be able to exert collective intelligence.

Individual intelligence is the entropy inhibitor of the Japanese archetype. It allows individuals to adapt to the conditions of the situation in order to achieve growth.

Loyalty is the final purpose of the minimum strategy. This means that individuals who are not loyal to the structure of the society are considered as aliens.

The integration of aliens implies a very slow process in order to avoid the loss of the roots of the culture.

Strong cultures as Japan respect foreigners based on their values and deeds. Dealing with Japan as an outsider is easy if one accepts that one is a foreigner. Respecting its archetype is the first step to deal with the Japanese community.

Unicist thinking emulates the structure of the ontogenetic intelligence of nature in order to be able to deal with it.

It is basic to apprehend the dynamic of reality. It is the necessary intelligence to develop forecasts and planning.

Thus individuals can approach evolution and develop strategies. Unicist thinking is a conscious approach to reality far beyond automatic intuitive approaches

It is necessary to develop strategies. Strategies are necessarily complex because the boundaries of a reality are necessarily open.

Therefore a strategy building process requires, among other tools, the use of unicist thinking to be able to model reality.

The ontogenesis of unicist thinking

Extrinsic concepts are those deposited by humans on their deeds and on the elements of nature they use.

The understanding of a reality begins with the discovery of its purpose. After the purpose has been approached it is possible to build the first dialectic pair.

The verbal function is the antithesis that puts the purpose into action while its implicit utopia tries to change it. If there wouldn’t exist an entropy inhibiting element, this situation would evolve into a dysfunctional result regarding the original purpose.

The function of the first dialectic pair, the second dialectic is born. The purpose is sustained by the energy conservation function.

It is a complementary element that limits the effects of the verbal function to secure the maintenance of the objectives implicit in the purpose.

Charles Darwin demonstrated the adaptation process of species that, having the same structural constitution, develop adaptive changes to live in a certain environment. It is necessary to comprehend that the evolution of species has a materialistic origin.

Habit is hereditary with plants, as in the period of flowering, in the amount of rain requisite for seeds to germinate, in the time of sleep, &c., and this leads me to say a few words on acclimatisation. As it is extremely common for species of the same genus to inhabit very hot and very cold countries, and as I believe that all the species of the same genus have descended from a single parent, if this view be correct, acclimatisation must be readily effected during long-continued descent. It is notorious that each species is adapted to the climate of its own home: species from an arctic or even from a temperate region cannot endure a tropical climate, or conversely. (Charles Darwin: The Origin of Species)

Evolution always occurs by the “verbal function effect”. Adaptation to the environment is lost when the action where the adverbial function is materialized stops being functional to the existence of a concept in its current state.

In this case, there are two possibilities: either the adverbial function compensates the dysfunctionality or it does not.

In order to adjust this, the adverbial function starts up the verbal function it has as sub-concept of the original concept. This compensation may be reached or not.

If reached, there is an adjustment effect which is functional to the balance at a given time and let repairing or self-repairing mechanisms adjust the dysfunctionality.

When there are no chances of repair, the balance of the credibility area must have changed in the case of an extrinsic concept, or there must have been a change in the functionality area when dealing with an intrinsic concept.

It may also happen that the adverbial function (homeostasis) cannot compensate the unbalance situation produced by the dysfunctionality of the verbal function. Should that be the case, there is a modification of the substantive function.

In this case, a mutation must have taken place. When purposes change mutation occur.

Mutations may be qualitative or structural. By qualitative mutations we mean those that modify the quality of the same structural purpose.

Structural mutations are those where the purpose changes completely. Structural mutations frequently occur when, in chaotic situations, there appears an external gravitating force which intends to “absorb” a unified field.

It is very difficult to know exactly when the mutation will take place and what it will result in. What it is possible indeed  is to build alternative scenarios which allow a better adaptation to the environment.

1)      The action principle that sustains growth and evolution. It is driven by expansion.

2)      The energy conservation principle, which sustains survival and avoids involution. It is driven by contraction.

In the field of human behavior, the action principle gives birth to the verbal function, which makes the fulfillment of purposes possible. The entropy produced by action produces changes in the goal of purposes.

To avoid changes and sustain the purpose, the energy conservation principle produces a homeostasis. The homeostatic value complements the purpose and ensures that action occurs within the established limits.

But the consequence of this interaction is never deterministic. The change produced by the interaction of the living being with the environment produces evolution or involution.

In nature, both principles sustain the evolution of living beings. Their effects can be observed in bacteria, viruses, cells, and other living beings.

At a more operational level, besides the expansion and contraction principles, there are functions that provide security and functions that provide freedom to living beings. These functions are implicit in the upper level functions (expansion – contraction).

Ontogenetic intelligence provides the basic rules to adapt to an environment. It sustains the living being’s unstable equilibrium. When, for any reasons, the ontogenetic intelligence is inhibited, the living being loses its equilibrium and its survival is endangered.

These principles are active in individual beings and in the live environment they are part of.
